Don't aim for the money; aim for the passion instead
The reason businesses sometimes fail is not because the entrepreneurs lack passion but because all they are concerned about is making a profit.
Of course, we need money but is that the only reason for setting up a business?
While reading the book: "Anything You Want" by Derek Sivers, I came across this quote that I have been following ever since I started my entrepreneurial journey.
"Business is not about money. It's about making dreams come true for others and for yourself."
Yes, a successful business makes money; however, it's often not really about just money. It's about helping people, providing value, building opportunities, and having fun doing it.
As you provide value, value eventually comes back to you. Sometimes in the form of money or sometimes in the form of a sense of fulfillment and satisfaction about life.
But it will come back to you for you. Remember, "Money is just the by-product. So, don't aim for the money; aim for the passion instead."
And this is why our motto at webdew is, "Grow Together!"
So, why does your business exist? I'd love to hear your thoughts!
