Every team member and leader has a job to ensure the end goals are achieved; however, the leader needs to own the overall outcome.

Accountability goes beyond individual actions and decisions.

Accountable leaders do not blame others when things get messy. Instead, they make things right.

Accountable leaders take ownership of the performance of their teams as well.

So, if you’re a leader, be very honest with yourself and see if you genuinely take accountability for your actions and your team.
